The Time Has Come - Band Bio
Its not really a band. Its the strange stuff i write outside of the band/parts for the full band arranged for guitar only.

Why this name?
Random thinking. I would change it now, but that would lose my identity.

Do you play live?
Nope. Not with this project.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows people to share their music freely, although some people tend to abuse it.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Mehh, depends. I would be more cautious than i wouldve maybe a year ago. Selling out=Bad.

Band History:
I dont have much of a history yet, although i hope to leave a legacy. I started playing guitar about a year ago when i found an old classical guitar in my parents closet. I started playing then, but never really learned anything. Then, a few months later, i began to take lessons from a man through my church, but eventually he left and i never saw him again. Luckily, his lessons were all the inspiration i needed. I began to self teach myself from that point on and have been doing so ever since. Last summer (2004) i bought a sqier double fat strat from guitar center and a cheap 15 wat amp, and since then these have been the tools of my trade (along with other random instruments).

Your influences?
My musical interests/influences-- encompass many genres. The main influence would probably be one of the various forms of metal (black, death, doom, drone, heavy, thrash, etc etc). Next greatest would be alternative/experimental (noise, math rock, ambient rock, anything weird). Other lesser influences include punk, blues, grunge, classical, and jazz.

Favorite spot?
Im really not sure.

Equipment used:
Guitars:Old Classical, Squier HH Strat.
Amps:Crate 15w (for practice/recording/weird reverb effect)
Other Gear: D'arrdio strings, Digitech Death Metal Distortion.

Anything else...?
Band named "The Blistering End" formed, including drummer, guitarist, bassist (?), and me (also guitarist, duh). Look at your band page www.soundclick.com/theblisteringendnewyork for more songs coming soon.
